Confidentiality & the ConcierConnect NDA

Everything on this platform is confidential by default. Whether you are a client, a professional, or an invited member, the same mutual non-disclosure terms apply to you — this is the plain-English version of what you sign.

What counts as confidential

Requests and briefs, the identity of the client behind a request, the identity of the professionals under consideration, rates and negotiations, the plan we build, member and guest lists, and any business, financial, or personal information you learn through the platform. It also covers anything marked confidential, and anything a reasonable person would understand to be private.

It runs both ways

Clients agree not to disclose which professionals they were introduced to, what they were quoted, or anything about their private circumstances. Professionals agree not to disclose who they were matched with, what was requested, or anything they learn while working a request. The Concier holds the same obligations toward you.

How long it lasts

Five (5) years after the relationship ends for general confidential information, and indefinitely for trade secrets and personal contact details. Ending a membership, declining a request, or never completing a booking does not end these obligations.

The only exceptions

You may share confidential information when the person who owns it gives you written permission; when you are legally required to disclose it (with notice to us wherever the law allows); or when the information is already public through no fault of yours. Nothing here prevents anyone from speaking with a lawyer, accountant, or regulator.

Return or destroy on request

When a relationship ends, confidential material is returned or destroyed on request, and no copies are kept beyond what the law requires you to keep.

No recording without consent

Calls, appointments, and messages are not recorded, screenshotted, or forwarded without the written consent of everyone involved.

02

How The Concier Works, and What We Are Not

The Concier is the intermediary. Understanding our role keeps expectations clear on both sides.

One request, handled end to end

You bring us a need, we source vetted professionals, manage the conversations, negotiate the details, and come back with a single considered plan. We do the arranging so you do not have to.

We are not the service provider

Professionals are independent. They are not employees, agents, or partners of ConcierConnect, and we do not perform, supervise, or guarantee their work. The agreement for the service itself is between the client and the professional.

We do not guarantee outcomes

We vet carefully and match thoughtfully, but availability, scheduling, pricing, and results belong to the professionals and to circumstance. If something falls through, tell us — we will source an alternative.

Requests stay private until accepted

A request is shared only with the professionals being considered for it, and only to the extent needed to quote and plan. Your name and contact details are released when you approve an introduction.

We can decline or end any relationship

We may decline a request, postpone an introduction, or end a membership at our discretion — for quality, fit, or conduct reasons.

03

What We Ask of Clients

The concierge standard holds in both directions. Here is what we ask of the people we serve.

Give us accurate details

Where, when, what, and for whom. Details that change matter — tell us early so we can adapt the plan rather than repair it.

Treat professionals with respect

Their time, space, pricing, and boundaries are theirs. Harassment, discrimination, or pressure of any kind ends the relationship immediately.

Honour what you agree

Quotes, deposits, and cancellation windows are agreed directly with the professional and are payable to them. No-shows and late cancellations may be charged under their terms.

Keep introductions on-platform

Do not take a professional off-platform to avoid a fee, or pass their details to someone else. The relationship you were introduced to is confidential.

Tell us when something is wrong

A missed appointment, a concern about quality, or a misunderstanding — raise it with us first. We would rather fix it than lose your trust.

04

What We Ask of Professionals

Membership is by invitation and reviewed before a profile goes live. Those standards do not end at the application.

Licences, insurance, and credentials

You hold and maintain every licence, certification, and insurance policy required for the services you offer, and you provide proof when we ask. Information you give us about your credentials is accurate.

Keep your profile true

Rates, availability, services, locations, and photographs are current and genuine. Work you show is work you did.

Respond within the window

Requests carry a response deadline. Consistent silence, or cancelling after accepting, affects your standing in the circle and can end your membership.

Probationary period

Every professional starts on a probationary period. The feedback clients leave after each request is reviewed at the end of that window, and a professional who does not meet the standard is taken off the network.

Protect the client

Client identity, address, circumstances, and the details of a request are confidential. Client information is never used for marketing, resold, or shared outside the request.

No solicitation or circumvention

Do not solicit a client's business outside the platform, and do not route an introduced client to another professional to avoid platform terms.

Conduct, both ways

No harassment, discrimination, misrepresentation, or unlawful activity — and the same protection applies to you. Report any client conduct that crosses a line.

05

Privacy, Data & How We Handle Information

What we collect, who sees it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

Contact details, location, the details of a request, profile and credential information for professionals, and payment records. We collect only what is needed to arrange and support the service.

Who sees it

Our team, and the professionals being considered for a specific request — and only what that request needs. Payment card details are handled by Base44 Payments; we never see or store full card numbers.

We never sell your data

Contact details, requests, and member lists are never sold, rented, or shared for third-party marketing. We do not run advertising audiences built from member data.

How long we keep it

Profiles stay while the membership is active. Requests and messages are kept for up to three (3) years for records and dispute resolution, and financial records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your controls

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold, and ask us to stop non-essential communications, by writing to concierconnect@gmail.com. Some records must be retained for legal and accounting reasons, and we will say so if that applies.

Security

Access is limited to team members who need it, records are stored on access-controlled systems, and portal access requires a personal code or credentials. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you.

06

Communications & Consent

How we reach you, and how to change that.

What you consent to when you join

Email, text, or phone contact about your requests, introductions, account, and payments, plus occasional community news if you opted into it.

Transactional messages

Request updates, security codes, receipts, and membership notices are part of the service and cannot be turned off while your account is active.

Marketing and community news

You can stop these at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by replying to us. Unsubscribing never affects your membership or your requests.

Accuracy

Keep your phone, email, and location current so a plan never goes astray. If your information is wrong, we may be unable to reach you about an accepted request.

07

Membership, Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Who pays whom, and what happens when things change.

Nothing is charged up front

Your first year as a member is included, on both sides of the network. Nothing is charged at application or on approval, and no annual fee is collected during your first year as a member — the annual fee begins only once that first year is complete, and renews each year after that. The amount is confirmed in the agreement you sign with The Concier.

The professional membership fee

Membership for professionals is $49.95 a year, beginning after your first year as a member is complete and renewed each year. Your first year is included at no charge. There are no plans, tiers, or monthly bills, and nothing is charged to apply or to be reviewed. Card payments are handled by Base44 Payments, our payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers.

The client membership fee

Client membership is $49.95 a year, beginning after your first year as a member is complete and renewed each year. Your first year is included at no charge, and nothing is charged to send a request. It covers the concierge work behind every request — sourcing, vetting, negotiating, and arranging. The service itself is paid directly to the professional at their own rate; we never add a markup to it.

One agreed percentage

On top of the annual fee, one percentage is agreed with you one to one, professional by professional, and set in writing before you go live. It is taken from what you earn on the client work The Concier introduces — never charged to the client — and nothing else is charged to be listed.

Cancelling a membership

Cancel any time from the member portal or by writing to us. Access continues to the end of the membership year you are in, and the membership does not renew afterwards.

Refunds

Membership fees are refunded only where the law requires it or where we state otherwise in writing. Requests cancelled with reasonable notice before work begins are not charged by us.

Service fees

Quotes, deposits, and balances for the service itself are paid directly to the professional under their terms. Cancellation windows, deposits, and any travel fees are set by them and confirmed before a request is accepted.

No-shows

A client who does not appear, or a professional who accepts and never arrives, may be charged under the terms agreed at acceptance, and repeat occurrences affect membership standing.

Disputes about a charge

Contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. If something was charged twice or in error, we will investigate and correct it.

Changes to your fees

Your percentage and your annual membership fee change only by written agreement with you, and never retroactively — not to work already introduced or completed, and not to a membership year already under way.

08

Reviews, Ratings & Reputation

Honest reviews protect everyone in the circle.

Who may review

Only someone who actually received the service may leave a review, and it is attributed to the profile that was introduced.

What we do with them

Reviews are shown on professional profiles and used in how we rank and present members. Ratings cannot be bought, traded, or removed by payment.

Moderation

We remove reviews that contain unlawful content, personal details, threats, or obvious misrepresentation. We do not remove a review merely because it is critical.

A right of reply

A professional may respond publicly once to a review, or ask us to re-check a review they believe is mistaken.

09

Standards of Conduct & Removal

The behaviours that end a membership immediately.

Never acceptable

Harassment or intimidation, discrimination, threats, sexual misconduct, requests for anything unlawful, misrepresentation of identity or credentials, fraud, or bringing the community into disrepute.

Removal

We may suspend or end a membership immediately for a serious breach, and without notice where someone's safety or the integrity of the circle is at risk.

What survives removal

Confidentiality, payment obligations already incurred, and restrictions on using information gained through the platform continue after a membership ends.

Reporting

Report any concern about a client or a professional to us directly. Reports are handled confidentially and reviewed by the team.

10

Liability, Insurance & Disputes

The limits, the protections, and how a disagreement gets resolved.

Professionals carry their own cover

Members are responsible for their own licences, general liability, and professional insurance for the services they perform.

Where our responsibility ends

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, quality, or timeliness of an independent professional, nor for a client's conduct. We are responsible for arranging the introduction with the care this page describes.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid to ConcierConnect in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

Each member agrees to cover ConcierConnect for claims arising from their own breach of these terms, their unlawful conduct, or their violation of someone else's rights.

Talk to us first

Before any formal step, raise the issue with us in writing. We will work to resolve it within thirty (30) days of receiving your written notice.

If it cannot be settled

Unresolved disputes go to confidential mediation or binding arbitration rather than court, except for small claims and claims for injunctive relief. Governing law is that of the state in which Concier Connect is organized.

11

Events, Photography & Media

We photograph what we host, and we respect the people who prefer not to be in frame.

Event photography

Events may be photographed or filmed by our team or an approved photographer, and images may appear on our site, social channels, and promotions.

Opting out

Tell us in writing before an event, or at any time afterwards, and we will stop using images that feature you and remove them from our channels.

Member spotlights

Testimonials and featured profiles are published only with the member's consent, and can be withdrawn by writing to us.

Your own marketing

Your professional profile and photographs stay yours. We do not sell or licence your images to third parties.

12

Changes, Acceptance & Contact

How these terms evolve, and how to reach us about any of them.

When you agree to this

When you apply, you sign the membership and confidentiality agreement. Your typed name, the date, and the version of the terms are recorded on your profile.

Changes to these terms

We may update the policies. Material changes are announced by email with reasonable notice, and continuing to use the platform after they take effect means you accept them. Every version is dated at the bottom of this page.

Severability

If one part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that part is applied as closely to its intent as the law allows.

Agreement v2026.10.3

How the signature works

  • Every applicant signs this agreement during the application, before a profile is reviewed.
  • Your typed name is your electronic signature. We record it with the date and the version of the terms.
  • Clients are covered by the same confidentiality terms from the moment a request is placed.
  • Signing once covers every request, introduction, and event you take part in.

Questions before you sign?

Ask us anything about the NDA, confidentiality, or how we hold your information. We answer every message personally.
